The IntelliSkin® Next Generation protective case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) includes all the great features of the original IntelliSkin® and adds several improvements. A redesign with insert-moulding combines a hard plastic shell with soft, shock-absorbing rubber. The ruggedised contacts for repetitive docking in field applications are still located on the exterior, but are now flat so that they collect less dirt and are easier to clean. An integrated USB Type-C connector at the bottom of the skin makes it possible to charge the device, even when you do not have a GDS® Dock™ to hand. Like the original IntelliSkin®, these cases still provide military-grade drop protection and prevent damage to your device's charging port from continual docking, thanks to an integrated GDS® connector that is moulded directly into the skin. The IntelliSkin® Next Generation for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is compatible with various GDS® Docks™ and accessories, as well as new docking cups for upgrading existing GDS® vehicle docks.
