The IntelliSkin® Next Generation protective case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 8.7" (SM-T220 & SM-T225) has all the great features of the original IntelliSkin® and adds several improvements. A redesign with insert moulding combines a hard plastic shell with soft, shock-absorbing rubber. The reinforced contacts for repeated docking in field applications are still on the outside, but are now flat so they collect less dirt and are easier to clean. An integrated USB Type-C connector on the bottom of the skin allows the device to be charged, even when you do not have a GDS® Dock™ at hand. Unique to this IntelliSkin® is a cut-out for access to the audio jack, at the bottom left of the IntelliSkin®. This variant also integrates a powerful LED light on the back of the IntelliSkin® with an on/off button on the front. Like the original IntelliSkin®, these cases still offer military-grade drop protection and prevent damage to your device's charging port from constant docking, thanks to an integrated GDS® connector moulded directly into the skin. The IntelliSkin® Next Generation for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 8.7" (SM-T220 & SM-T225) is compatible with various GDS® Docks™ and accessories, as well as new docking cups to upgrade existing GDS® vehicle docks.
