ACRYLIC PAINTER'S SEALANT

The professional acrylic sealant for finishing all building materials, guaranteeing a perfect finish with all types of paint, stain or varnish: with little to no risk of reactions such as crazing, paint cracking or discolouration. AC 38 cures to a plastic consistency that perfectly follows the expansion and movement of the substrate, but does not come loose or crack.

Use

• Apply to a clean and dry to slightly moist substrate.
• Smooth off dry or wet with a spatula.

Overpaintable after 1 hour, depending on temperature and air humidity. Remove any applied protective tape before skin formation to avoid damaging it.

Substrate strengthener: Improve adhesion and reinforce weak substrates such as aerated concrete or plasterwork by brushing them with diluted AC 38 (2 parts water to 1 part AC 38).

Test adhesion on plastics, powder coatings, exotic wood species, blue limestone and bituminous materials. The perfect joint is as deep as it is wide (from a maximum of 5 to 10 mm).

The drying time depends on:

the temperature of the product.

the temperature of the environment.

the temperature of the substrate.

the layer thickness.

the air humidity.

the moisture of the substrate.

Do not use as glazing sealant or as adhesive sealant. Not suitable for expansion joints and joints with standing water or immersion.
