BUTYL TAPE ON ALUMINIUM FILM
The composition of the butyl rubber mass guarantees a very high initial adhesive strength on, among others, concrete, stone, lead, zinc, steel, aluminium and glass. The extremely flexible rubber mass adapts to every shape and fills unevenness in the substrate. The aluminium carrier is reinforced with plastic and is therefore tear-resistant, dimensionally stable and extremely weather-resistant.

Use
- Remove protective film.
- Apply to a dry and clean substrate.

- Composition: complexed, plastic-reinforced aluminium film on modified butyl rubber.
- Colour: matt grey.
- Thickness: +/- 0.7 mm.
- Specific weight: 1100 g/m².
- Peel strength on refractory cement: at an angle of 90°C and 200 mm/min >= 10 N/cm.
- Temperature resistance: -30°C to +100°C.
- Application temperature: +5°C to +40°C.
- Chemical resistance: water: excellent; weather conditions: excellent; hydrocarbons: not resistant.
- Test substrates based on PE, PP, silicones and bitumen for adhesion first.
- Shelf life: 36 months, dry, cool and frost-free.
