PU ADHESIVE WITH DIRECT BONDING

PU Construct is used for bonding, mounting and sealing most porous building and decoration materials.

Advantages

Remains flexible after curing.

Use

As of 24 August 2023, appropriate training must have been completed for industrial or professional use.

• Apply on one side to a dry and clean surface, if necessary clean with Multifoam and/or Safety Clean.
• If desired, spread out the adhesive with an adhesive comb.
• Bring the materials to be bonded together and hold under pressure and in place for about 15 minutes.

Fresh adhesive can be removed with Novawipes (also from the skin), and cured adhesive only mechanically. Its curing by air humidity requires at least one porous surface. For non-porous surfaces it is advisable to lightly moisten one of the surfaces or the adhesive by misting (maximum 20ml per m²). Avoid mechanical loading until fully cured. Test the adhesion if necessary.

• Density: 1,45 g/ml.
• UV resistance: good.
• Shear strength ISO 4587: +/- 12 N/mm².
• Temperature resistance: -40°C to +100°C.
• Application temperature: +5°C to +40°C.
• Open working time at 23°C and 55% RH: 10 to 15 minutes.
• Handling strength: depending on the adhesive thickness, the material, the temperature and the air humidity 30 > 60 minutes.
• Final bonding: depending on the adhesive thickness, the material, the air humidity and the temperature 24 to 48 hours.
• Not suitable for underwater applications and not on PE, PP, PTFE and bituminous materials.
• Do not expose to vapours or liquids with a high chlorine content.
• Shelf life: 12 months, store in closed packaging and dry between +5°C and +25°C.
