STRONG AND FAST CHEMICAL ANCHORING
Q-Fix 120 is designed for chemical anchoring that is heavily loaded in hollow and solid materials such as stone, concrete, aerated concrete, ... . Q-Fix 120 is a waterproof and impermeable fixing. Q-Fix 120 is a vinyl ester resin that has the best mechanical properties and better chemical resistance. Q-Fix 120 also has all the necessary approvals: the European approval (ETA/ CE) option 7 for non-cracked concrete and a fire resistance class F120.
Advantages
Both in dry and damp drill holes, even under water, even down to -10°C.
Exceptionally chemical- and UV-resistant.
Anchors in both solid and hollow bricks, concrete blocks, Ytong, ... .
Extremely long shelf life, even opened.
Use
- Drill holes according to the table.
- Make the holes dust-free with a brush or Novair.
- Use the cartridge at room temperature.
- Turn the mixer tip onto the cartridge and dispense 10cm before use.
In solid stone:
- Fill the drill hole from back to front.
In hollow stone:
- The harpoon plug increases the effectiveness and reduces consumption.
- Glass fabric such as the reinforcement fabric of Nova Power Grip is a handy alternative: roll up the fabric to the desired diameter, slide it into the drill hole and fill it from back to front.
- Insert the threaded rod into the drill hole with a slight turning motion.
- Smooth out excess product or let it cure and remove it later with hammer and chisel.
Storage options:
1. Remove the mixing tip and clean the cartridge nicely. Close the cartridge again with the accompanying screw.
2. Leave the mixing tip on the cartridge. At the next use, a new mixing tip can simply be fitted.
