2K ASSEMBLY ADHESIVE AND SEAM SEALANT IN A HANDY 1-COMPONENT CARTRIDGE

Seal & Bond MS50 2-K is a 2-component system in a 1-component cartridge for bonding and sealing. Seal & Bond MS50 2-K has a very fast, shrink-free internal polymerisation and complies with the highest and most recent DIN standards for garage, industry and bodywork repairs: DIN ISO 868. Seal & Bond MS50 2-K is UV- and weather-resistant, does not mould and is odourless. Seal & Bond MS50 2-K adheres to the most common materials: varnished and galvanised surfaces, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, steel, aluminium, paint, varnish, polyester, wood and most plastics. Seal & Bond MS50 2-K can still be reused after opening.

Advantages

Perfect adhesion on most materials without the use of primer.

Quickly overpaintable with both solvent- and water-based paints, even wet on wet.

Use

• Pump without the mixer tip until the two components flow proportionally.
• Fit the mixer tip and dispense 5 cm until a homogeneous colour is obtained.
• Apply to a clean and stable substrate, if necessary clean with Safety Clean and/or Multifoam.

Fresh MS50 2-K can be removed with Safety Clean.

Remove the mixer tip after use.

Store with the closure caps.

Processing time is 15 minutes.

After 20 minutes of inactivity, replace the mixer tip.

When using a pneumatic gun: only with a telescopic piston.

Before application on polycarbonate, always test for adhesion and formation of stress cracks.

• Tensile strength: 210 N/cm².
• Tear strength: >73 N/cm² DIN 53507.
• Elongation at break after 7 days 20°C: >600%.
• Thermal stability: -40°C to +95°C (briefly 180°C).
• Specific gravity: approx. 1.4 +/- 0.1 kg/dm³.
• Volume shrinkage after curing: none (<1%).
• Adhesion: on most surfaces.
• Poor adhesion on PE, PP, silicones, etc.
• Chemical resistance: is resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, aliphatic solvents, oils, greases, water and seawater.
• Shelf life: 15 months, dry, cool and frost-free.
