TRANSPARENT GLUE WITH 700% ELONGATION
This one-component transparent paste adheres to the most commonly used materials and is extremely flexible after curing. Transfix is therefore extremely suitable for joining, sealing or repairing materials with a large difference in expansion coefficient.
Advantages
Adheres to porous and smooth substrates, even to polypropylene (without primer).
Permanently flexible and overpaintable.
Can even be used under water.
Use
- Clean and dry the surfaces - roughen smooth surfaces.
- On very porous surfaces, apply more Transfix.
- Apply Transfix to both surfaces, join together after 5 minutes.
- Apply thick layers in several thin layers.
- Smooth seams with Novatio Safety Clean.
Skin formation after 10 minutes - full curing after 24 h.

- Curing at 20°C:
- 70% after 8 hours
- 100% after 24 hours
- Chemical resistance: excellent - nitric acid (20%) - acetates (10%) - sulphuric acid (10%) - lactic acid (5%) - hydrochloric acid (20%) - boric acid - alcohols - foodstuffs - oils - seawater - phenols.
- Shelf life: 5 years in closed packaging, if stored dry, cool and frost-free.
