The RAM composite glareshield/yoke mount is ideally suited for a day in the air, yet easy to remove for transport in the flight bag. Both strong and lightweight, this new clamp base is perfect for the numerous electronic devices often found in the cockpit. Modular in design; swap the clamps for a perfect fit regardless of the mounting surface, or add a second ball to mount another device; brilliant. Made to hold firmly to most glareshields, yokes or tubes, virtually any aircraft can benefit from this product. Easy to use and exceptionally versatile, RAM has created yet another "must have" for every pilot. Once you have had the chance to use this great little device, we are convinced you will find uses for it regardless of what you fly, drive or ride. With everything you get in this package, you might even catch yourself using your new RAM mount on a golf cart, workbench or even fitness equipment. With RAM there are no limits. The composite glareshield/yoke mount fits a rail or edge lip from 5/8" to a maximum of 1 1/4". The mounting base can also accept a second ball (RAP-B-121BBU), giving you the ultimate double ball base. To fit the base, simply place the clamp ends around the rail and then tighten the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand-tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental aircraft, golf carts or unusually shaped motorcycle rails.
