The RAM-201LU, a standard double socket arm with locking knob, has a socket at each end that is suitable for 1.5" ball bases. A single spring in the arm opens the end sockets, so you can tilt the ball-and-socket connection. This socket technology allows for virtually infinite adjustability and perfect viewing angles. The locking knob contains a brass 1/4"-20 thread; this allows you to disengage the tightening of the knob. Once you have set your holder in the desired position, you can lock it and trust that your mounted device stays exactly where you left it.
