The RAM-B-177-237 consists of a glare shield clamp base, short double socket arm and 1" diameter rubber ball, connected to a 1/4"-20 thread for cameras. This mount is designed for attachment to the edge of a flat surface up to 5/8" thick. Popular mounting edges are the window edge on the side of a car or the glare shield in an aircraft. The base has two composite bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the edge surface. A RAM 1" diameter rubber ball is connected to the base, so you can attach a RAM 1" diameter arm socket and connecting plates to create the perfect mount for your application. The external thread fits most standard internal threads of cameras and camcorders on the bottom of the camera.
