The RAM-B-184U consists of a galvanised U-bolt base, double socket arm and 2" x 1.7" rectangular base with the universal AMPS hole pattern. The diamond adapter base has a hole pattern that matches the industry-standard AMPS hole pattern and fits a wide range of RAM holders and third-party holders. This package includes hardware suitable for rails from 0.50" to 1.25" diameter. A composite rail adapter can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 0.5”. The holder is designed with a patented RAM ball-and-socket system with 1" diameter rubber ball, with adjustment points at both ends of the short double socket arm; this provides virtually infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
