The RAM-B-231Z-A-366U consists of a zinc-plated U-bolt base, SHORT double socket arm and 1" ball, connected to a round plate with 1/4"-20 camera thread. This package includes hardware suitable for rails from 0.50" to 1.25" diameter. The base includes black end caps that are placed over the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The composite rail adapter can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 0.5". The steel threaded pin with 1/4"-20 male thread fits any standard female thread on camcorders, digital cameras and POV cameras. The holder is designed with a patented RAM ball-and-socket system with 1" diameter rubber ball, with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this provides virtually infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
