The RAP-370-R consists of the RAM ROD® Light-Speed™ rod holder, 4" long spline post and combination bulkhead/rail/flat-surface base with plunger for spline posts. Designed to mount vertically or horizontally in your boat, you can rotate the rod holder 360 degrees, while tilting the rod holder forward and backward for the optimal fishing angle. The RAM ROD® Light-Speed™ is another innovative product in RAM's long list of high-quality, industry-leading fishing products. Ideally suited for casting reels and baitcasting reels, the Light-Speed rod holder offers smooth operation when inserting and removing the rod, while still holding firmly in rough water or during trolling. The spring-loaded design allows quick removal of the rod and reel when you have a fish, and offers easy placement of the rod in the rod holder. The combination bulkhead/rail/flat-surface mounting base can be installed on a flat surface such as the deck or on a vertical surface. This mounting base has a locking feature that requires the release of a plunger to remove the rod holder.
