Previously, to switch orientation, users had to loosen the knob of the double socket arm that attaches their holder to the three-part mounting solution—this X-Grip® style does away with that hassle! Made of marine-grade powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel components and high-quality composite, the RAM® X-Grip® phone holder is compatible with a wide range of RAM® double socket arms and mounting bases. This large version of the RAM® X-Grip® fits phones from 1.75" to 4.5" in width and keeps your device fully functional and accessible. Regardless of which double socket arm and mounting base you combine the RAM® X-Grip® with, RAM® ball-and-socket technology enables virtually infinite adjustability for the ideal viewing angle – while also extending the life of your phone through shock and vibration dampening. For outdoor applications – such as use as a phone holder on a motorcycle – the RAM® X-Grip® includes a device tether that is recommended for extra safety and peace of mind.
