This RAM® Vent-Temp™ temperature module accessory (RAM-VENT2-RCT-50U) installs at the front of any RAM® or GDS® dock and attaches to rectangular A/C vents using included cable ties. This version of the RAM® Vent-Temp™ channels air produced by your vehicle A/C system to cool or warm the front of the docked phone or tablet. This is ideal for environments where the tablet needs to be cooled or warmed to maintain operating temperature during critical work functions, or to defrost the front of the device so your touchscreen remains usable. When properly installed and the vent cap attached to a rectangular air vent, both the hose adapter and the front dock mount have integrated magnets for easy disconnection when the RAM® Vent-Temp™ is not needed, or when it snags on something causing the hose to be pulled. The included 50" flexible hose can be trimmed to the desired reach length from vent to dock.
