The cup of the tapered bearing is the outer ring (bearing race) of a tapered roller bearing in the chassis of aerial platforms and material handling.
The cup forms the raceway in which the tapered rollers rotate and, together with the cone, absorbs the axial and radial load. In case of wear or pitting, you replace the cup and associated bearing parts.
