This flasher unit synchronises side marker lights with the indicators. In accordance with ECE R48, Rev. 6, all vehicles of categories O3 and O4 (trailers above 3,5t) type-approved after 18 October 2017 must have side marker lights that flash in sync with the indicators.
Connect several side marker lights to the cable so that the flasher unit centrally controls the flashing pattern. One unit per side must be provided, so 2 units per vehicle. Per flasher unit the maximum current must not exceed 2 Amperes.
