The GDS® CAN Bus with FMS connector (RAM-GDS-CAN-FMSU) revolutionises the traditional CAN Bus with a Direct-To-Tablet broadcast that allows the CAN Bus to broadcast unparsed HEX data directly to your tablet without the need for a SIM card or third-party subscription service. Since the communicated HEX data follows the Open SAE J1939 Standard Protocol, you can choose from any third-party app to process and present your vehicle messages. By eliminating third-party USB adapters between the traditional CAN Bus and the tablet, this all-in-one solution delivers power and data directly from the vehicle to the tablet, keeping it charged on the go. The GDS® CAN Bus has three separate lights so drivers are constantly aware of the device's status: the red light indicates that the GDS® CAN Bus is detecting power, the blue light indicates that CAN activity is present, and the green light indicates that the GDS® CAN Bus is charging the device.
