TRANSPARENT DOUBLE-SIDED ACRYLIC TAPE
High Tech Tape Transparant has been developed for permanent bonding and can be used both indoors and outdoors. High Tech Tape Transparant is suitable for bonding all kinds of materials, also to one another, such as metal, glass, wood and various types of plastic. High Tech Tape Transparant has a very good bond and a very high shear strength.
Advantages
Very high immediate adhesion, yet repositionable.
Insoluble and crystal-clear.
Chemical-, temperature- and UV-resistant.
Use
Apply to a dry, grease- and dust-free surface.
Application temperature between +15°C and +30°C.
High immediate adhesion
After 20 min = 30 % adhesion.
After 24 hours = 60 % adhesion.
After 72 hours = 100 % adhesion.
Heating the bonded pieces accelerates the adhesion.
E.g. after 5 min. at 65°C = 80 % adhesion.
After 1 hour at 65°C = 95 % adhesion.
Treating difficult plastics with Seal&Bond Special Primer can improve adhesion, as can increasing the bonding surface by sanding.
