2K MULTIFUNCTIONAL, TRANSPARENT EPOXY

Megapox is an epoxy resin with unlimited possibilities. It can be used as an adhesive, floor covering, floor and concrete repair, sealing compound, injection compound, filler, impregnating agent and casting compound.

Use

• Shake both tins well. Mix 3 parts A component and 1 part B component (by weight or volume) to a homogeneous mass. Before use, pour into another tin and mix again.
• Apply to a dry, clean and stable substrate.
• If necessary, finish with a second layer after a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 24 hours.

Working time after mixing: 30 to 45 min., walkable after 24 hours, mechanically loadable after 72 hours and chemically resistant after 7 days. High temperatures accelerate curing, low temperatures slow curing. Clean tools with Novatio Megaclean.

• I. Adhesive: Universal adhesive for bonding wood, stone, metal, glass, ceramic materials. Mix Megapox with Megatix gelling agent until the desired consistency is achieved, apply on one side or as a filler, can also be used for laminating work.
• II. Floor covering:
  • acid-resistant seamless floor covering
  • very wear-resistant floor mortar
  • making floors anti-slip. Sprinkle Megagrain or Megagrip before skin formation. Cover with a second layer after a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 24 hours. Before covering, remove the excess loose grains with a vacuum cleaner. Finishing also possible with Coatapox. For a finish after more than 24 hours, etch with Megaclean or sand. Lowest processing temperature + 12°C.
• III. Floor and concrete repair: Well-adhering floor repair compound with greater strength than that of normal concrete. First apply one layer of pure resin with a brush, apply a repair mortar to the still wet layer. To be mixed with Megafil or Megagrain. Resin-sand ratio: 1/1: castable floor of 2 to 3 mm, 1/4 trowelable mortar of 5 to 15 mm. By adding Megatix, the mixture becomes easier to process.
• IV. Sealing compound-filler: acid-resistant sealing compound for the chemical industry. Particularly well-adhering hard and impact-resistant filler for difficult repairs. Mix Megapox with a little Megatix and fill with a powder (cement, gypsum, wood flour, iron or aluminium powder).
• V. Impregnating compound: impregnating concrete, asbestos cement, masonry or wood to make it wear-resistant, water- and anti-slip acid-resistant. Paint Megapox pure onto a dry substrate, consumption +/- 250 g/m². For higher requirements of watertightness or chemical resistance, apply 2 wet layers. If anti-slip is desired, sprinkle the still wet layer with a grain of choice (Megagrain, Megakwarts or Megagrip). After curing, wipe away the excess sprinkle.
• VI. Casting compound: for casting moulds, casting in anchors, grouting machines, casting in electrical components. Never cast Megapox pure in layers thicker than 1 cm. For larger objects, always fill Megapox with a powder (cement - Megafil - gypsum - sawdust).
