ADHESION PRIMER, PRIMER COAT AND FILLER
Novafill Flex is a pore filler that fulfils the function of primer, primer coat and filler alike. Novafill Flex adheres exceptionally well to metals, galvanised surfaces, plastics, wood and painted substrates. Novafill Flex is an ideal fine finish for filling, among other things. Novafill Flex is shock-, impact- and vibration-resistant. After drying, Novafill Flex is quickly and perfectly sandable to a super-smooth surface. Novafill Flex is overpaintable with most solvent- and water-based paints. Novafill Flex is petrol- and diesel-resistant. Weighing, mixing and cleaning equipment is a thing of the past thanks to the convenient spray can.
Advantages
Adheres to metal, galvanised surfaces, paint and, thanks to its flexibility, also to plastic.
Is quickly sandable, both dry and wet.
Fills pores and light scratches.
Overpaintable with most paints and coatings.
Use
- After releasing the mixing ball, shake well before use.
- Sand the substrate and clean with Safety Clean and/or Multifoam.
- Apply Novafill Flex in thin, building-up layers, observing short drying times between the layers.
- Accelerated infrared drying is possible, respecting a minimum lamp distance of 70 cm.
- After drying (20 min), sand before painting. Sanding can be done both dry (grit 500) and wet (grit 800).
- After use, empty the nozzle by spraying with the can inverted.
Which Novafill Flex to use?
- On metal as the first layer: Nova Finish Primer, for its rust-inhibiting capabilities.
- On other substrates (such as synthetic materials) as the first layer: Novafill Flex or Novafill Flex 2, for their adhesion capabilities (on difficult plastics first apply Seal&Bond Special Primer).
- Subsequent layers according to filling requirements: Novafiller, Novafill Flex or Novafill Flex 2.
- As a top layer, before painting, Nova Finish Primer is recommended for its fine structure: easy finishing, time-saving thanks to less sanding work.
