Novatio PU 22 - aerosol 750ml

ADHESIVE FOAM

All season PU foam with very low post-expansion for indoors and outdoors, applicable from -5°C to +30°C. The first choice for all assemblies and bondings where speed, strength and insulating capacity are important. Good adhesion to most building materials, with excellent thermal and acoustic insulation capacity.

Use

As of 24 August 2023, appropriate training must be completed for industrial or professional use.

• Shake the can vigorously for at least 30 sec.
• Apply adhesive beads to a clean and stable substrate.
• Join the parts after a couple of minutes, before skin formation.
• Support vertical bondings for about ten minutes if necessary.

Moisture spraying before or after accelerates the reaction and promotes uniform cell formation.

Remove fresh foam with Novatio Foam Cleaner and clean hands with Nova Wipes.

Remove cured foam with XPR-100 PU Remover.

Not suitable for load-bearing structural elements.

No adhesion to PE, PP and other plastics with a closed cell structure.

Loadable and finishable after 60 minutes.

Store the can upright and clamp it during transport.

• Bonding insulation panels / furniture panels / OSB
• 1 can PU 22 of 750 ml = +/- 10m² sheet material.
• Apply vertical adhesive beads of 30 mm thickness to the panels, with 25 cm spacing.
• When bonding to a metal or wooden frame: apply PU 22 directly to the frame instead of to the panels.
• Wait 2-3 minutes and press the panels against the substrate. Keep fixed for 1 minute.
• The panels can still be repositioned for +/- 5 minutes.
• Provide adequate support for 10 minutes after applying the panels.
• Finish joints and gaps with PU 22.

• Bonding aerated concrete blocks
• Only suitable for non-load-bearing structures.
• Set the first layer perfectly level in a mortar bed.
• Apply two beads of Ø 30 mm to the first layer. The second layer can be applied directly.
• Also apply PU 22 to the sides, so that the vertical joints are also fully bonded.

• Resistance: strongly chemical-, weather-, water- and rot-resistant; sensitive to UV light.
• Shelf life: 15 months in original closed packaging, stored dry, cool and upright.
