CHARGE
Rescues empty batteries from just 1 volt thanks to its unique pulse action. The fastest way of charging – thanks to the ‘smart charge’ control that chooses pulse charging or continuous charging depending on the strength of the sunlight. Intelligent maintenance – continues the next day if the battery held the charge overnight; if not, the programme moves on to the OPTIMISE step.
MONITOR
Battery status is shown every 3 seconds. Notification that the battery is ready for STD and high-performance AGM batteries. Consumes less than 0.5mA during monitor mode. Automatically switches to CHARGE when there is sufficient solar energy.
MOUNTING
The OptiMate charge controller is separate from the panel and can be placed close to the vehicle or the battery, so that the charging progress and the maintenance of the battery can easily be monitored. The solar panel must be mounted so that it receives direct sunlight. The range/distance between battery and panel is 315 cm/124?. Use the OptiMate extension cables O-03, O-13 or O-23 to connect the solar panel to the OptiMate charge controller over a longer distance.
