Product information "Polishing paste PROFILINE SP 06-02 silicone-free 250ml"
Silicone-free abrasive paste with high abrasive content for grinding away weathered and scratched paint layers. Removes corrosion caused by bird droppings, insects and tree sap in the paint. For all paint types and colours. Removes dust inclusions, overspray and sanding marks. Ideal for repairing weathered and scratched paintwork. High material removal with a simultaneously medium gloss effect. Removes sanding marks from P1200 sandpaper.
- Shake bottle before use.
- Place the product on the SONAX lambswool pad or the SONAX hard foam pad.
- Polishing phase 1: pressure: 5-10 kg - speed: 800 rpm - time: 30 seconds
- Polishing phase 2: pressure: 1-2 kg - speed: 1200 rpm - time: 60 seconds
- Then place a new product on the pad and carry out a new polishing cycle.
The stated times refer to one polishing cycle of an area to be polished of approx. 1 square metre of medium hard paint.
- Remove residues with a SONAX ultra-fine microfibre cloth or wet with a sponge or water jet.
- For the finish, post-treatment with SONAX PROFILINE FS 05-04 and SONAX PROFILINE NP 03-06 is recommended.
NOTE: Clean polishing pads regularly and never use different polishing compounds on one pad. Do not use in the sun or on warm painted surfaces.
