The RAM camera base includes a 1.5" rubber ball connected to a round base with a 2.5" diameter. Also included is a centred 3/8"-16 steel threaded stud; the round base provides support and stability for cameras resting on it. The 3/8"-16 steel male-threaded stud fits any standard female thread on camcorders and digital cameras.
