RAM-101AU-D consists of a double socket arm and two round bases with a diameter of 2.5" that contain the universal AMPS hole pattern. One of these round plates has a 1/4"-20 male thread post in the centre. That threaded post can be removed to expose a 1/4"-20 female threaded hole.
