The RAM-201LSU, a standard double socket arm with steel lock knob, has a socket at both ends suitable for 1.5" ball bases. A single spring in the arm opens the end sockets so you can tilt the ball-and-socket connection. This socket technology allows virtually infinite adjustability and perfect viewing angles. The lock knob contains a brass 1/4"-20 thread; this lets you decouple the tightening of the knob. Once you have set your holder in the desired position, you can lock it and trust that your mounted device stays exactly where you left it.
