Product information "RAM® Glare Shield clamp double ball mount with round plate"
The RAM-B-177-202U consists of a glare shield clamp base, short double socket arm and round base with the universal AMPS hole pattern. This mount is designed for attachment to the edge of a flat surface up to 5/8" thick. Popular mounting edges are the window edge on the side of a car or the glare shield in an aircraft. The base has two composite bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the edge surface. A RAM 1" diameter rubber ball is connected to the base, so you can attach a RAM 1" diameter arm socket and connecting plates to create the perfect mount for your application. The mount is equipped with the patented RAM system featuring a 1" diameter rubber ball and socket, with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allows for virtually infinite adjustability and perfect viewing angles.
