The RAM-B-177U consists of a glare shield clamp base, short double socket arm and diamond base adapter. The RAM-B-177U is designed for attachment to the edge of a flat surface up to 5/8" thick. Popular mounting edges are the window edge on the side of a car or the glare shield in an aircraft. The base has two composite bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the edge surface. A RAM 1" diameter rubber ball is connected to the base, so you can attach a RAM 1" diameter arm socket and connecting plates to create the perfect mount for your application. The hole pattern on the diamond base adapter fits most RAM holders.
