The RAM-B-149Z-GA31U consists of a zinc-coated U-bolt base, double socket arm and high-strength composite holder. This package comes with mounting hardware for rails with a diameter of 0.50" to 1.25". The base includes black end caps that fit over the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The supplied composite rail adapter can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 0.5". The holder is equipped with the patented RAM system with a rubber ball and socket of 1" diameter, with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this provides virtually infinite adjustability and perfect viewing angles.
