The RAM-B-231Z-366U consists of a galvanised U-bolt base, double socket arm and 1" ball, connected to a round plate with 1/4"-20 camera thread. This package includes hardware suitable for rails from 0.50" to 1.25" diameter. The base contains black cap covers that fit over the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The included composite rail adapter can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 0.5". The steel threaded stud with 1/4"-20 external thread fits any standard internal thread on camcorders, digital cameras and POV cameras. The mount is designed with a patented RAM ball-and-socket system with 1" diameter rubber ball, with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this ensures virtually infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
