The RAM magnetic Power Plate™ III handlebar U-bolt holder is designed to securely hold radar detectors on the road. The magnetic plate contains two powerful rare-earth magnets, a composite holder and one self-adhesive steel plate. To mount your device on the magnet, stick the steel plate onto the back of your device and click it against the holder. This holder has a quick-release feature whereby the device can be conveniently removed by twisting it out of the holder in one simple motion. The handlebar U-bolt holder consists of three parts: a U-bolt ball base suitable for any handlebar with a diameter from .5" to 1.25", a double socket arm and a round ball plate that connects to the bottom of the RAM Power Plate III. The double ball-and-socket design offers infinite adjustability, allowing you to set your radar detector at the perfect viewing and operating angle. The rubber ball components provide shock and vibration dampening, making this holder suitable for any rugged environment.
