The combined bulkhead/flat surface mounting base can be installed on a flat surface such as the deck or on a vertical surface. This mounting base has a locking function whereby a plunger must be released to remove the rod holder. Compatible with RAM post and spline rod holders and RAM wedge-mount ball adapters.
