The RAM-B-108B-A-366U consists of a v-shaped strap base, a short double socket arm and a 1" ball with 1/4"-20 steel threaded stud. The base is suitable for rails from 1.0" up to a maximum of 2.1" diameter. To mount the base, place the saddle-shaped plate on the rail and then wrap the metal clamping strap around the rail and the plate. Tighten the screw knob on the metal strap with a screwdriver until the strap firmly grips the rail. The camera plate provides extra support and stability for cameras resting on it. The 1/4"-20 steel threaded stud with male thread fits any standard female thread on camcorders and digital cameras.
