The RAM-108-G1 consists of the 1" diameter ball-and-socket system with RAM 2.5" diameter universal plate and connecting hardware. This mount is designed as a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM products. The hole pattern on the 2.5" plate fits a large number of third-party mounts and holders. The strap mounting base is suitable for a rail diameter from 1.0" up to a maximum of 1.9". The 1" rubber ball sits at a right angle to the mounting base, causing the ball to sit at a right angle to the rail. The base includes one 6.0" and one 8.0" length metal strap, along with a rubber strip of approximately 5.5" length to prevent scratches or marks on your rail.
