The RAM® Temp-Right™ dock heater module for Zebra ET6x & Getac ZX10 (RAM-DOCK-HEATER1-EU) is a self-regulating heater module available as a supplementary accessory when your ET6x or ZX10 docking system is mounted in extremely cold environments. When installed on the dock and connected to a power source, the integrated thermistor detects when the temperature drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, automatically activates the heater and drives hot air through the back of the tablet via a 12-VDC axial fan. The heater brings the device to safe operating temperatures and then automatically switches off. In addition, a built-in safety plunger prevents the heater from being activated when the device is not docked. Once the device is docked, it presses the safety plunger that activates the Temp-Right™ functionalities. This supplementary accessory is built to keep devices usable specifically in cold environments for transport- & logistics and cold storage applications.
