The RAP-B-400-347U consists of the small Tough-Claw™ base, double socket arm and rectangular adapter plate. The RAM Tough-Claw™ is the perfect mounting base for quick and easy tool-free installation and removal on round, square and irregularly shaped rails and tubes. The Tough-Claw™ can be clamped onto rails with an outer diameter of 0.625" - 1.14". The adapter plate includes the universal AMPS hole pattern that is the industry standard and connects to a large number of RAM Mount and third-party holders. The holder is designed with a patented 1" diameter RAM rubber ball and socket system with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allows virtually infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
