The RAM-B-149Z-UN8U consists of a galvanized U-bolt base, double socket arm and universal X-Grip® clamp holder for 7"-8" tablets. This package includes mounting hardware for rails with a diameter of 0.50" to 1.25". The base includes black end caps that fit over the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The included composite rail adapter can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 0.5". The mount features the patented 1" diameter rubber ball-and-socket RAM system, with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this provides virtually infinite adjustability and perfect viewing angles. The spring-loaded X-Grip® holder expands and contracts, giving your 7"-8" tablet a perfect custom fit. Included are extra easy-access grip buttons on the back of the holder for quickly releasing your tablet. The X-Grip® comes with a device tether that is recommended for outdoor use. The holder is compatible with handheld devices that fit within the dimensions listed below. It is important to check the dimensions of your handheld device including case/sleeve/skin when determining the overall size.
