The RAM-B-177-UN8U consists of a glare shield clamp base, double socket arm and universal spring-loaded X-Grip® holder for 7"-8" tablets. Simply place the clamp on a clamping surface up to 5/8" thick and gently tighten the nylon wing screws. The holder is designed with a patented RAM ball-and-socket system with 1" diameter rubber ball, with adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this provides virtually infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The spring-loaded X-Grip® holder expands and contracts, for a perfect fit of your 7"-8" tablet. Included are extra easy-to-reach grip knobs on the back of the holder for quickly releasing your tablet. The X-Grip® includes a device tether that is recommended for outdoor applications. The holder is compatible with handheld devices that fit within the dimensions below. It is important to check the dimensions of your handheld device with case/sleeve/skin when determining the overall size.
