The RAM-B-121-UN8U consists of a yoke clamp base, a double socket arm system and a universal spring-loaded X-Grip® holder for 7"-8" tablets. The yoke clamp base fits rails from 0.625" up to 1.25". The 1" rubber ball sits perpendicular to the face of the mount; when attached to a rail the ball sits parallel to the rail. The mount incorporates a patented rubber ball-and-socket system with a 1" diameter ball, with adjustment points at both ends of the socket arm; with a twist of the arm knob you move the mount to your optimal viewing position. The spring-loaded X-Grip® holder expands and contracts for a perfect fit of your 7" tablet. Included are extra easily accessible grip knobs on the back of the holder for quick release of your tablet. The X-Grip® includes a device tether that is recommended for outdoor use. The holder is compatible with handheld devices that fit within the dimensions below. It is important to check the dimensions of your handheld device with case/sleeve/skin when determining the overall size.
