The RAM® X-Grip® phone holder with ATV/Side By Side rail base (RAM-B-231-2-UN7U) comes with everything needed to mount a phone or small electronic device on rails with a diameter of 0.5" - 3.15". This kit consists of a steel clamp band base, stainless steel U-bolt base, medium length double socket arm and universal spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® holder for mobile phones. The spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® phone holder ensures a perfect fit for various phone models and small electronic devices from 1.87" to 3.25" wide by expanding and contracting the arms. The holder has four grip knobs that attach to the arms for a firm grip; also included is a rubber device tether that is recommended for outdoor & heavy-vibration applications. To ensure the fit within the RAM® X-Grip®, it is important to check the dimensions of the handheld device while it is in its case/sleeve/skin. The patented ball-and-socket system with adjustment points at both ends of the socket arm allows adjustment to the optimal viewing position.
