Advanced maintenance for 6V and 12V batteries of race cars/cars/watercraft.
The OptiMate 5 VoltMatic can RECOVER and CHARGE all 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries. Connect the charger to the battery and the VoltMatic microprocessor automatically selects the correct voltage for charging a 6V battery in any state or a healthy* 12V battery and proceeds to charge. * Switching to manual operation is available for 12V batteries with very low voltage.;Charge current is controlled by the size and status of the connected battery.;Leave connected for months of unattended maintenance charging; the OptiMate detects the battery status and delivers charge when needed, to keep the battery 100% charged.
•CHARGE CURRENT: 4 A (6 V) / 2.8 A (12 V) (Ampmatic)
•USE: Indoor/outdoor (lowest temperature: -20 °C).
•RECOVERY: Starts from a low voltage of 1 V and two-stage desulphation recovery.
•IDEAL FOR: STD, AGM and GEL 6 V and 12 V batteries between 8 – 120 Ah (up to 192 Ah for 6 V).
•INPUT CURRENT: Universal (100-240 V 50-60 Hz), high efficiency (CEC listed), fully sealed.
•DESIGN: Weatherproof housing with wall mounts, a 6 ft/180 cm AC cable and a 180 cm charge cable with SAE connector as end. Weatherproof battery cable and standard set of battery clamps included.
SAFE: No risk of overcharging. Completely safe for vehicle electronics. Sparks are suppressed. Safe long-term battery maintenance. Automatic shutdown in the event of a short circuit or when the battery is disconnected.
