Loading and unloading a truck/trailer is usually a hectic event. During loading and unloading, the use of a wheel chock is not legally required, but it is recommended. When docking at a dock leveller, in order to comply with occupational health and safety regulations, companies can and may ask drivers to place wheel chocks in addition to using the normal parking brake. It is also mandatory to have 2 wheel chocks on the truck as standard according to the ADR regulation.
This yellow wheel chock made of HDPE plastic is approved by the German TÜV and is used to secure a truck or trailer. The wheel chock is of very high quality and carries the DIN76051 standard (wheel chock for motor vehicles and trailers). The wheel chock is 200 mm wide, 470 mm long and 225 mm high. The wheel chock is easy to carry thanks to the built-in handle.
